ঈদের ইউনিকর্ন

 ঈদের ইউনিকর্ন                          

এক মাস রোজার পরে নিজের আনন্দের এক অদ্ভুত উৎসব হল ঈদুল ফিতর। অদ্ভুত এই কারনে যে, আনন্দের প্রকাশ দেখে বোঝার উপায় নাই এটা কি এক মাস সংযমের পরের আনন্দ নাকি এক মাস জমানো উগ্রতার সম্মিলিত প্রকাশ? যেটাই হোক, আসল কথা হল এটা আনন্দ, নির্মল হোক আর না হোক আনন্দ নিজের মাঝের নিজেকে একটু স্বস্তি দিয়ে মানসিক বিশ্রাম।

আমিও বরাবরের মত আর আট-দশ জনের মত আমার বাবা-মায়ের সাথে ঈদের এই আনন্দ করার জন্য সুদূর (!) ঢাকা থেকে দুই ঘন্টার পথ সাড়ে চাঁর ঘন্টায় পাড়ি দিয়ে এসেছি।ঈদের আগের দিনও নিজের কোন আলাদা সাঁজানো schedule ছিলোনা। কিন্তু ঈদের দিন সকালে উঠেই মনে হল কি যেন একটা নাই...কি নাই? প্রবল বর্ষনে মুখরিত নগরীর পানি জমা মসজিদের মেঝে পেরিয়ে ঈদের নামাযের আয়োজন শেষ হতেই টের পেলাম, আর কিছুই করার নাই! বাইরে বৃষ্টি আর ভিতরে আমি...আর আমার সহধর্মীনি রুম্পার কাজের চাপে দিকে দিকে ছোটাছুটি। এবার ওর লক্ষ্য ছিলো শ্বাশুড়িকে রান্না করতেই দিবে না, যতটুকু পারে নিজেই করবে।

দুপুর গড়িয়ে চলে যেতে দেখে মনটাও আকাশের মত গুমোট হয়ে আসছিলো। পুরানো দিনগুলো মনে পরে মন খারাপ করার কোন মানে হয়ে না। নয়ন কে ফোন করলাম।বাপ্পি কে ফোন করলাম।নিশি কে ফোন করলাম।যতই বৃষ্টি থাকুক আনন্দের সময়টাকে এভাবে হারাতে চাই না। দুপুরের পর পরই বৃষ্টিটা একটু কমে আসলো।নয়ন আসলো মেরি কে নিয়ে...এই বৃষ্টি ওদেরকে পারেনি আটকাতে,পারবেও না,পারার কথাও না। আমাদের ক্যাম্পাসের নতুন বাসার দোতলায় আমার নতুন ঘরে বসলাম। একটু পরেই বাপ্পি আসলো।আর আমার বউ ত আছেই...

পাঁচজন ছবি তুললাম।খেলাম।গল্প করলাম...এবার বের হওয়া দরকার...

আমার সনি সাইবার শট, নয়নের ক্যানন ডি 60 আর বাপ্পির মাথা ভর্তি ছবি তোলার আইডিয়া নিয়ে আমরা পাঁচজন চললাম নদীর দিকে।হাটতে হাটতেই খবর হল নিশির আসতে দেরি হবে,খুব অবাক হওয়ার মত কিছু না।বরং ও কোনদিন ঠিক সময়ে আসলে সবাই খুবই অবাক হবে...

নদীর পাড়ে আমাদের সেই ছেলেবেলা মনে পড়ে যায়। কতদিন এই জায়গায় ঘুরে ঘুরে সময়কে খুন করেছি তার হিসাব করতে বসলে আরেকটা জীবন পার হয়ে যাবে।এর মাঝেই আমাদের বাপ্পির উঠল প্রবল সিগারেট খাওয়ার বাঁঈ! পাগলের মত সিগারেটের জন্য এপাশ থেকে ওপাশে হেটে হেটে খুঁজেও সিগারেট না পেয়ে শেষে বাধ্য হল দোকানে যেতে। কিন্তু দোকানের পথে বৃষ্টির পানি আর কাদা জমে যাচ্ছেতাই অবস্থা! কিন্তু যারা ধোঁয়া খায় তারা জানে, এই নেশা কেমন নেশা! কিছুক্ষনের মাঝেই আবিস্কার করলাম, ওই নোংরা কাদা রাস্তা এড়ানোর জন্য বাপ্পি একটা দেওয়ালের উপরে উঠে বসে আছে!এই পাজামা আর পাঞ্জাবী পড়েও দেওয়ালের উলটা দিকে লাফ দিয়ে নামলো। কিন্তু যে পাশে নামলো সেপাশে বের হওয়ার কোন রাস্তা নাই...কাজেই আবারও দেওয়াল টপকে ফেরত আসতে হল ঈদের পাঞ্জাবি পরা বাপ্পিকে।

যাহোক, অনেক ঝামেলার পরে বাপ্পি সিগারেট পেল। কিন্তু ততক্ষনে আমরা নদীর পাড়ের মজা হারিয়ে ফেলতে শুরু করেছি। সারা জীবন এত্ত সুন্দর একটা জায়গায় কাটিয়েছি যে এখন এখানেও মাঝে মাঝে মনে হয় আর কি করব??? As usual, আমাদের সবার মাথায় নৌকায় ওঠার ভুত চেপে বসেছে। “ডাক সাইদুর কে”...সাইদুর আমাদের ছেলেবেলা থেকে দেখে আসা সেই মাঝি যে আমাদের ডাকে সদা হাজির। সাইদুর এর নৌকায় চড়ার পর থেকেই officially start হল আমাদের photo session। চারদিকের এত সুন্দর আলো আর ছবি কোথায় পাব আর?

ওপাড়ে গিয়ে আমাদের চা খাওয়া দরকার। দোকান পাওয়া গেল। চা খাওয়া হল। আর চলল ছব তোলা...এর মাঝে বাপ্পি আমাদের মাঝে তার নিজের ফটোগ্রাফারের পরিচয় দিল কিছু অসাধারন ছবির জন্ম দিয়ে। আর আমাদের সেই স্কুল লাইফ এর ইতরামি, বিটলামী, ফাজলামী, বান্দরামী ত সাথে সাথে ছিলই...দিনের আলো কমে আসতে দেখে নৌকায় চড়ে বসলাম আবার এপাড়ে আসার জন্য।

দিন শেষে যখন নয়নের অনুরোধে ঢেঁকি গেলার মত করে blog জন্য লিখছি, তখন মনে হল...কি জীবন ছিলো আর আজ কি জীবন আছে...ঈদের আনন্দের মাঝের সুখটুকু হয়ত যুগ যুগান্তরের myth এর সেই unicorn এর মত। সব আগের মতই আছে...শুধু নিজেকে প্রশ্ন করতে ভয় পাই- আমরাই কি বদলে গেছি?

Planning for a great get together with school friends outside Dhaka after Eid

At last I arranged a conference call with some of my school friends on Monday Night at 10.30pm (14.09.2009). The main discussion was to arrange a trip outside Dhaka after Eid. Everyone agreed to arrange such a great get together outside of Dhaka. We all also decided to take the final decision after a small meeting at Uttara on Saturday. Hope that will be arranged accordingly. I was also planning for such a trip with friends with at least 10 people of a group. Because previously I couldn’t arrange more than 5 people to go outside of Dhaka. This time I got 3 couples which will be easier for me and my wife to enjoy. We couldn’t yet decide where we are going. But most of us preferred Cox’sBazar where I am not so interested to go. Because I went to coxbazar already this year and visited already over 5 times. But it wouldn’t be bad if we could go in a whole group of 10 friends or more. Now I am counting at least 10 people to go for such a trip, but my previous experience is saying that only 4 will perhaps remain to join the trip. Lets see how many will remain from the list above.

My Favourite Symbian Applications (Part -01)

This is a special blog for all my friends and colleagues who are using symbian handsets or who will buy one in the future. I am totally a symbian freak. I have been using symbian handsets for at least 5 years and I have really fallen love with this Mobile OS. I have been using Nokia from the beginning when I started to use a cell phone from 2000. In this blog I will highlight all the useful application which I am using on my Nokia E71. All these applications help me in maintaining my official and personal life. I can’t think a moment without these very useful apps. This is the 1^st part of the blog, so keep your eyes on my blog or my facebook status’s for the 2^nd part.

1. Google Maps for Mobile:

I am using Google maps for over a year & loving this application very much. It has been very useful for me in many cases. I am using this application for identifying my location, sharing my location and finding out my friend’s and colleagues where about and also marking special places. You can download this application to your mobile from m.google.com/maps. Hope all of you will lave this and have fun with it. The current version is 3.2.1(#12) on Saturday, September 05, 2009

3. The Aviator Theme

When I just saw the wallpaper of this theme I was really amazed. Then saw the icons……amazed for the 2^nd time. I found this theme from a forum which I follow for my E71. I then downloaded and installed it. This theme has been developed for 3 Symbian editions including 5^th edition which is touch screen based.
